Macarena's professional development has focused on connecting organizational culture with the changes in their environment. This is further supported by her Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

She has led numerous organizational transformation processes and interventions aimed at strengthening the identity and culture of public and private organizations, in addition to carrying out organizational communication audits and strategies in this area.

She has performed these functions for projects for Finning, the General Comptroller of the Republic, the AFP Association, the Senior Public Management, Anglo American, ARAUCO, Cencosud and Telefónica.
